  • Lip Blushing is done with a machine using the powder technique..

  • The end result is subtle and natural. The color fades 40-60%.

  • The end result should look like a translucent matte lip tint. Just gloss and go.

  • This procedure is ideal for anyone that has fading around the vermilion border. The fading is normal as we age and makes the lips appear thinner and lacks definition. Blushing restores it and makes you look younger!

  • It can also be used to correct symmetry and restoratively over scaring!

  • It does not make your lips bigger. The color should ideally stay within the vermilion border to avoid inconsistency in color. the lip skin takes color much differently than the face skin. When you work outside the border you will get a halo of color. Symmetry correction and restorations are the exception.

  • Lips will need to be touched up annually.

  • This is the more uncomfortable of the procedures.

  • If you have a history of cold sores you must get on an antiviral before the procedure. The trauma from the needle will most likely cause a breakout.

  • More saturated lipsticks are an option but its best to choose a color with little to no white if you do. More info on why in the Learn More section.

  • If you wear bold lipstick daily this is not a replacement. Lips should not be and would be difficult to even get that saturated.
